Duration

Copyright on a literary, musical and/or artistic work (excluding photographs) applies from the date of inception until fifty (50) years after the year in which the author (or longest surviving co-author) dies.

If such works are published only after the death of the author, copyright applies for a period of 50 years from the end of the year of publication.
